Does XSitePro come with a
manual? Yes. There's a professionally
produced manual that comes with the software. It's over 400
pages long and provides step-by-step instructions for almost
every feature in the software. The manual is intended to be a
reference work you can turn to whenever you need to. You
certainly don't need to read every page of it to use the
software. There's also a 100 page tutorial to help you get
going. The tutorial takes roughly 2 to 3 hours to work through
and introduces you to all the basics. It takes you right from
adding a new web site through to publishing the site to the
Internet.
What is
the upgrade policy? We value your business and so have implemented an
upgrade policy that we feel is fair to everyone. Here's how it
works. All upgrades within the same major version number are
completely free. For example you can upgrade from version 2.00
right through to 2.99 without any charges at all. Major
upgrades, e.g. going from version 2.xx to 3.00 will be
chargeable, but at a substantial discount to existing
users.
Does XSitePro run on my normal computer
or on my web server? XSitePro runs on the PC computer in your home or
in your office. It does not run on your web server, which
means you can publish sites to as many different web
servers as you like and those web servers could be
running Unix, Linux, Windows Server or whatever else you
might be using. It also means that you are working on
your web sites locally, which is always a lot faster than
having to do it on-line.
Can I
install XSitePro on more than one
machine? Yes,
that's not a problem at all - at the moment. We
are thinking of changing this policy so that you'd get a
discounted second copy, but for now if you buy one licence we
can sort you a second one out for your second
PC (e.g. a laptop) absolutely free.
The unlock code is specific to the machine
that you have installed it on, so after installing it on
your second PC you will need to register the
software again by clicking on the "Register Online"
button. Your other copy will
continue to function correctly but you can only install
the software on a total of two machines and you can
only use it on one machine at any time. If you run the
software simultaneously on both computers your licence
may be invalidated.
Does XSitePro include domain name
registration &
hosting? XSitePro software includes everything you need
to design a website, quickly and easily. It is a desktop
application so doesn't host your webpages as it has no
serverside capabilities. You will need to register your
domain name and hosting independently and once you have
this information, XSitePro makes it really simple to
use. Click here for Domain name registration and

I have no
website design experience. Can I still use
XSitePro? Absolutely. XSitePro provides you with the power
to create professional quality web sites in record speed
and to do things that previously could only be done by
people who were expert programmers. We've done our best to
make XSitePro both powerful and easy-to-use, but like any
powerful tool there are some features that will take some
mastering. If you follow the instructions in the manual and
work your way through the XSitePro tutorial you will
quickly learn the basics and you will then be in a position
to make use of the many advanced features the software has
to offer. In addition to the manual and the tutorial there
are also many videos to help you to learn as quickly and
easily as possible and our dedicated support team are
always on hand to offer help and assistance via
e-mail.
Is XSitePro similar to Traffic
Equalizer and Directory
Generator? Traffic Equalizer and Directory Generator
are very different to XSitePro. Both of those
packages specialize in auto generate "content"
whereas XSitePro is more like an Internet marketers
version of Dreamweaver or Frontpage. It is designed
to create real sites with real content and as such it
will help you to create sites that will be proftable
over the long term.
